Ddes bâtiments, l'emplacement des ouvertures, avec des résultats qui
aujourd'hui encore forcent l'admiration.

La lumière lui permet de percevoir son environnement, en y apportant une
dimension émotionnelle supplémentaire. Trop souvent considérée comme un
élément technique fonctionnel, elle entre peu à peu dans la cour des arts
majeurs.

A peine cent ans se sont écoulés depuis que l'homme a pu réaliser son rêve :
maîtriser la lumière artificielle en quantité suffisante et de façon économique.

Aujourd'hui, la présence de l'éclairage dans presque tous les domaines est
tellement évident qu'on le remarque à peine..!

E ver since man began organizing his daily life and raising edifices, he has

sought to master the use of light. His experiments with the orientation
and placement of openings in buildings have given results that even
today compel our admiration.

Light brings an additional emotional dimension to man's perception of his
environment. Too often considered as a merely functional technical element,
lighting design is gradually becoming one of the major arts of design.

Barely one hundred years have gone by since man mastered a dream: the
production of artificial light in sufficient quantity and at an affordable price.
Today, the presence of the lighting in almost all the domains is so evident that
we notice it hardly !
